Otterbeck Builders will be demo'ing an existing master suite addition to make room for an apartment addition on the side/rear of the existing house. The new addition will have vaulted ceilings, herringbone hardwood & tile flooring, gas fireplaces. There will also be a full kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedroom and office/studio. There will be an Azek deck built off the back of the addition to access the back yard.

Otterbeck Builders will be demo'ing an existing front porch which is starting to pull away from the house because, of the lack of foundation/support. We will be temporarily supporting the second floor/roof with bracing, excavating for a new block foundation and re-building a new front porch to replicate the existing. The homeowners will be finishing the interior of the space on their own and we are just installing builder grade white vinyl siding for now until the house get new siding and windows installed down the road.

Otterbeck Builders will be enclosing two existing exterior covered patio porches. One of the new rooms will become a studio office with lots of natural light by using Pella Windows and the other room will become the new mudroom entryway with a utility sink, coat closet, bench seat incorporated into some cabinetry; all ontop of a new tile floor. On the interior of the home, we will be removing a divider wall between an existing kitchen and dining room, to be able to completely remodel both spaces. All of the utilities in the kitchen will be re-located, including the sink, dishwasher, gas range and fridge to make room for a more open layout and adding an island in the middle. All of the existing hardwood flooring will be saved and refinished in place.
